Terms and Conditions of 5 Year Compressor Warranty for Commercial Refrigerators
1. Coverage and Eligibility
1.1. This warranty (“Warranty”) consists of a five (5) year Compressor Warranty, covering commercial refrigerators (“Product”) manufactured and sold by [Hi-Ten Trading Sdn Bhd] (“Supplier”). The Compressor Warranty covers the entire Compressor Part only, while the Compressor Warranty specifically covers the compressor unit. The Compressor Warranty period is valid for Five Year Compressor Warranty from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Customer”).
1.2. The Five-Year Compressor Warranty is only valid for purchases made directly through Hi-Ten Trading Sdn Bhd’s authorized direct agency and requires proof of purchase; it does not apply to purchases made through authorized dealers.
1.3 Customers are required to schedule regular maintenance for the commercial refrigerators every 6 months, which must be carried out by official technicians employed by Hi-Ten Trading Sdn Bhd. This maintenance service is essential to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the refrigeration unit. Failure to adhere to the scheduled maintenance may result in the forfeiture of the five (5) year Compressor Warranty coverage.
2. Warranty Coverage
2.1. The Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship during normal use of the Product. It includes repairs or replacements, at the Manufacturer’s discretion, of any defective parts or components.
2.2. The Warranty does not cover:
a. Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper installation.
b. Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to cosmetic issues.
c. Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs.
d. Damage caused by non-commercial use or use outside of specified temperature ranges.
e. Consumable parts such as gaskets, bulbs, or shelves.
f. Damage caused by relocation or transportation of the Product.
3. Warranty Claim Process
3.1. To make a Warranty claim, the Customer must contact our customer service within the Warranty period.
3.2. The Customer may be required to provide the following information when making a claim:
a. Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
b. Serial number and model of the Product.
c. Description of the issue or defect.
3.3. Upon receiving a Warranty claim, the Manufacturer will assess the issue and determine whether it falls within the Warranty coverage.
3.4. If the Manufacturer approves the claim, they will arrange for repair or replacement of the Product as necessary.
4. Exclusions and Limitations
4.1. The Warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.
4.2. Any repairs or modifications not performed by the Manufacturer’s authorized service personnel may void the Warranty.
4.3. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use of the Product.

6. Changes to Terms and Conditions
6.1 The Manufacturer reserves the right to update or modify these Warranty terms and conditions at its discretion. Any changes will be communicated to the Customer.
By purchasing and using the Product, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
